Our clients had recently bought an olive grove outside Martinborough in the Wairarapa and were heading towards their first harvest and press. They asked Moxie to develop a visual identity and label for their product.
A mood board session revealed a preference for a typographic or monogram-style logo. The client also liked the idea of the logo working on multiple levels, having a hidden detail that may not be obvious at first glance.
We developed four concepts which the client tested on social media via their extensive network. The chosen logo concept was a simple but bold monogram where an uppercase G wrapped around a lowercase g that was stylised as an olive and leaf.
Moxie developed four potential designs for our olive oil label. All of them showed that they had really listened and understood what styles we liked and what we wanted to convey with our brand. We were really impressed and had excellent feedback about the labels
